McCall’s 7955

I purchased this pattern a few years ago but failed to use it because I wanted yellow four way stretch fabric similar to the cover. I finally sat down this morning to start my spring/summer wardrobe which I hope inspires me to stop wearing a hoodie and black leggings which has become a staple since COVID started

Four ways to wear it

So I’m not big on ruffles and went with option B

I love the diagonal hem

This style consists simply of two pattern pieces a blouse front and back. The shoulder is made with 2 pleats and casing for cording.

Covers the trunk

I like a long blouse that covers the trunk given that past the midriff stage and have always leaned towards longer shirts/blouses

I like the fact that I can adjust the tension with the pull chord. Instead of using cording, I simply cut fabric 33” long and 1” wide to make it myself to match the fabric.
What do you think?

Overall I love the design however the sizing is off. I cut a M which is supposed to fit 12-14 but fits a 4-6. I can wear it but should avoid heavy meals 😂
