Oh where do I start? This pattern has been in my stash “forever” and I never put any thought into the fabric I would use for it
Last weekend, while rummaging through my stash, I came across two yards of a stretch cotton knit. This fabric is perfect for summer days when sitting out on my deck enjoying a glass of wine (or three) while grilling. It’s lightweight, drapes nicely and the print is very much something that I would rock.
Reading the pattern, I knew that it would not be time intensive pattern. I cut this in a size 8 and am so glad that I did. A size 6 would have been tight. I like it so much that I’m going to make more given the pattern has three different top options.
Let me know what you think!
Modifications: None. However I used my Serger for the seams
Would I make it again?: Most definitely. Given social distancing restrictions the pants will be my “go to” for my summer wardrobe. They fit perfectly however I may add a few inches for a heel
Difficulty: Nope!
Determining how much to gather in the bosom depends on each woman’s size. However, there are markings as to where one should gather. I recommend you follow as designed. If you are a C cup it larger , please baste abs try on before your final stitching
