Yesterday i happily returned home after a ride to the fabric store. I picked up five different prints, one of which is a tartan plaid.
I love the warmth of wool and knits in the fall and I also like to keep it stylish. When I came across McCalls 6842, I knew that a cute short shirt in tartan plaid with my boots was in my future.
It’s an eggplant and green with a cranberry stripe. Perfect for the holidays!

Would I make it again?: ABSOLUTELY!! I will begin cutting fabric for another once I post this.
Difficulty: Simple enough for a newbie with little supervision to assemble the pieces.
