Two years ago today, I lost my brother Vernon to throat cancer. For months I was depressed. Actually for the first year and a half I wasn’t truly myself. This year, I was determine to do something other than be sad. I went to bed last night knowing that I was not going to work and I would put my energy into something constructive. What is a better method of creative expression than sewing something for his 1 year old grandson?
Using a ultra warm fleece from @MLFabrics, I made him a slate and red fleece hoodie, slate ski cap and matching elastic waist pants for the upcominh chilly season using Butterick B6238 from @McCallPatternCo.
Here’s to you big brother. I miss you. Rest assure that your grandson will be warm thanks to Auntie Tracy.
